The Art of Selling
“Wait, I thought that this book was about relationships – not selling!”
It’s okay – you’re in the right place. But, before
we begin, you’re going to have to have something in your arsenal other than a
catchy line or two. In fact, these “lines” are really not very effective
anyway and should be dumped. Why? First, they are too easy to counter. Second,
they sound ridiculous and put you in a defensive posture, waiting for the women
to respond. This is not the position we want to be in with women. We want to be
in control. In fact, you’re going to have to be if you want any type of
long-term success.
So then, what is the “art of selling”? It is not
convincing someone to buy something, or convincing some woman to go out with you
or sleep with you. Any salesperson knows that you can’t convince anyone of
anything – let alone convince him or her to buy something. Besides, this is
hard work! Do you want to have to work hard, or do you want to work easy? I
